What is C-CAT?

C-CAT (C-DAC’s Common Admission Test) is an exam conducted by C-DAC  for admissions to all Post Graduate Diploma courses of C-DAC.

Why C-CAT?

According to the Ministry of Education in India, in 2021-22, a total of 1.07 crore (10,700,000) students graduated from higher education institutions in India.

According to the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) 2021-22, a total of  8.30 lakh (830,000) students graduated with undergraduate degrees in Engineering and Technology. courses in India during that academic year. However, there have been reports of a significant number of engineering graduates in India who are either unemployed or underemployed.

One of the reasons for this is that there is a mismatch between the skills of the graduates and the requirements of the job market.

C-DAC not only provides you with the best quality education but also provides you the platform for placement in MNCs and Startups within six months duration. Believe it or not, pursuing PG-DAC  is one of the best decisions of every engineering graduate.

Even some students who studied at C-DAC are working abroad after gaining good experience in India.

When C-CAT?

Every year, the C-CAT is conducted in December / January (for February / March admissions) and June / July (for August / September admissions). Admissions to all C-DAC Postgraduate Diploma courses are made through the C-DAC’s Common Admission Test (C-CAT).
